Although they were established over 25 years ago, Hayes McKenzie faced a period of turmoil as the renewables industry in the UK hit the brakes, resulting in the business needing to pivot and adapt quite drastically do accommodate new sectors in acoustics.
The initial enquiry for a ‘new website’ quickly revealed that although it was certainly needed, the brand identity, messaging, and associated communication assets all needed attention before embarking on strategic marketing activity to win business in new sectors.
Crucially, the brand needed to reposition the business to appeal to a wider audience with different needs, whilst still communicating their core values and expertise.
The website also needed to show them as credible and give them the best chance of gaining more website traffic from search engines.
The new and improved brand identity has given their team a new found sense of confidence, pride and excitement as they aim for dizzying new heights. Bold blue tones and delicate, charismatic graphics that take the form of pulsating sound waves translate effectively across every channel and capture attention. With the help of the new, approachable team photography for the new website, the finished product is attractive, easy to navigate and simplistic.
After nearly 25 years of trading we were suffering from a drop-off in our core business and had been casting around for someone who could help with promoting us in new markets, specifically through an updated web site and with a tweak to our existing branding. From the moment Bella arrived at our office to discuss our requirements we knew that Salad were streets ahead of the other companies we had been considering. Bella and the Salad staff have guided us gently through the whole process of re-marketing ourselves with steady hands and with a rigorous approach to quality, timescale expectations and costings with no last minute surprises and everything clearly set out and explained. The new look, new web site, and the sure knowledge that we will always have someone to turn to for marketing and PR advice, has led to a new confidence among all our staff as we embark on our next 25 years which wouldn't have been possible without Salad. Very many thanks to all of you!
