The awards, now in their seventh year, were created to celebrate the drive and energy of female leaders in business. The digital category was sponsored by local software company Ratio this year. The COO of Ratio and previous Venus winner Tara Flynn shared the judging criteria:
“When deciding on our Venus winner for the Digital Media and Online Business Award, Salad Creative particularly stood out for their deep rooted cultural values, their impressive growth and their ability to consistently deliver to an exceptionally high standard. Bella's dedication and passion for Salad shines through in all that they do.”
The award win nicely wraps-up a fantastic week, having received 6 award nominations at the Drum DADI, Wirehive100 and Dorset Business Awards, taking the year’s total to 8.
For those who missed it, Bella also featured on BBC South Today on Wednesday discussing retention of young talent in the digital industry.
Having celebrated our 15th year of business this year and with recruitment at the top of our agenda, Salad’s future is bright and ambitious “I’m so pleased to have been part of the Venus awards and I’m very thankful for the nomination and indeed, the win. This is an incredibly exciting time for us as we continue to expand so I’m taking the past week’s achievements as a good omen.”
