Since 2014, our partnership with Ellis Jones Solicitors has evolved into a strategic alliance that balances brand development, digital transformation and marketing excellence. From a refined rebrand and a robust website rebuild to an ambitious SEO-led content strategy, we’ve supported Ellis Jones in becoming one of the South Coast’s leading law firms.
Tone of voice
Ellis Jones has always stood out for its commitment to people, its clients and colleagues, and the wider community. In 2014, we began working together to translate their purpose into a refreshed brand identity, updated photography, and a new website that put approachability and expertise front and centre.
Over this initial period of our collaboration, we refined the firm’s visual identity to bring clarity and warmth. We worked together to plan, design, build and launch a new website to showcase services and expertise, and to support recruitment; commissioning fresh, authentic imagery to humanise the brand.

With the new identity firmly in place, we shifted focus to building a robust digital presence. This included the evolution of the website to showcase key practice areas, launching targeted campaigns and laying the groundwork for search performance.
We’ve also supported the firm’s growth beyond the website, increasing the amount of useable photography, creating internal comms assets, event materials and campaigns to keep the brand fresh, but consistent. Alongside this, we continue to produce usable assets for the team which empower them to maintain that consistency.

As our relationship has grown, so has the appetite for digital growth. Together, we’ve shifted to a data-led SEO and PPC strategy, focusing on high-quality traffic and measurable impact. Alongside this, we’ve introduced regular strategy reviews with the Ellis Jones team, aligning on priorities, identifying opportunities and sharing insights. This ongoing dialogue keeps the work fresh and responsive to changing market needs.
More recently there’s been a step-change in how we helped Ellis Jones approach digital growth. With the marketing team now fully engaged in content creation, we shifted from agency-led copywriting to a collaborative model.
We’ve designed and delivered SEO and content training workshops - equipping everyone from paralegals to partners with the confidence and skills to create authentic, expert-led content. This shift doesn’t just make content creation more efficient; it strengthens the internal culture, giving everyone a voice in how the firm shows up online.
