Doubling new business enquiries for BackupVault
We delivered a professional new identity and an SEO optimised, easy-to-use website for a leading provider of online cloud backup solutions. The result? Improved perceptions and an influx of new business.
BackupVault offers online cloud backup to SMEs, IT resellers, schools, public sector organisations and larger enterprises in the UK. Despite their best efforts, the business was struggling to offset an increasing stream of relevant enquiries which was taking up valuable resources. To help combat the problem, we were asked to build upon the newly created BackupVault logo to develop a fuller brand identity. We then moved on to the design and build of a bespoke website that helped communicate the business’ offering more clearly. Equally important, we worked to improve their search engine rankings through relevant search terms, pushing the boundaries of SEO capabilities.
Working with BackupVault, we defined clear user journeys and UX requirements to better understand the target audience; thus helping to boost the number of quality, relevant enquiries when the site launched. This vital information fed into both the visual brand identity and website as BackupVault is primarily a digital business. Copy editing and writing were also key to consolidating and updating user-relevant content, ensuring pages included topics to match search intent. New pages on the site were established in order to attract key audiences and simplify the process for users to assess if BackupVault could help with their needs. After launch we also undertook an SEO content and outreach program designed to improve search engine presence; we expanded BackupVault’s blog content and promoted the website in relevant publications through guest blog opportunities and directories.
The end result is a user-friendly responsive site that is fast, secure, SEO optimised and on-brand. Its crisp and modern design helps it to stand-out against competitors and inspire trust. Visitors can find and get in touch with the organisation more easily now through both live chat and contact forms. They can also access the information they need more easily, including a dedicated knowledgebase, downloads and a data calculator to help get the best out of a subscription. Both feedback and statistics from BackupVault following the new site’s launch highlight its success.
