Transforming thinkBeyond’s online presence to showcase their global social impact

We developed an engaging website to demonstrate thinkBeyond’s poignant sports initiatives and work with global communities.

The client

thinkBeyond is a strategy and consultancy agency that help large brands and organisations to make a positive social impact on global communities through sports related initiatives.

The brief

thinkBeyond challenged us to revive and refresh the look, feel and content of their website. They needed a more professional and vibrant digital platform to hero their talented staff and showcase their case studies. The content required simple messaging to portray their purpose effectively to potential clients. It was crucial that the website was delivered to a tight timeline ahead of Beyond Sport United, an annual event for global leaders and change-makers to discuss the power of sport in social change.

The solution

In the initial planning stage we outlined the structure of the site and analysed current user journeys in order to determine the most effective and user-friendly navigation. We also conducted keyword research which enabled the thinkBeyond team to write SEO optimised copy ahead of our web design phase.

To keep the thinkBeyond brand synonymous with the Beyond Sport Partnership we worked with their existing brand guidelines and evolved a suite of additional assets to enhance the site’s appearance. We introduced new secondary colours to the brand palette and a new font, as well as subtle arc-lines – inspired by the line markers of a sports court – that move softly in the background of each page. We also designed three bespoke icons to illustrate the main service areas of thinkBeyond’s offering – ‘Create & Ideate’, ‘Activate & Implement’ and ‘Position & Communicate’. These icons are used strategically throughout the site, providing a creative mechanism for thinkBeyond to discuss their services. The website UX has been injected with subtle movements, transitions and scrolls and showcases fantastic sports imagery, keeping the site engaging and professional.

The result

The new website is highly interactive and boasts an enhanced user experience. Elements such as the quirky 404 page and the animated icons bring personality and life to thinkBeyond’s online presence, and case studies now look impressive complemented by bold, vibrant imagery. Most significantly, the website is now easy to navigate, portraying thinkBeyond’s purpose and services clearly and effectively which in turn, will encourage more users to send enquiries via the dedicated form.
