Pro-Core: naming and developing an innovative golf product to launch in American Golf

The brief

In at ground level, Salad were given the job of naming the revolutionary product. The company’s primary objective was to secure a deal with the UK’s largest golf retailer, American Golf, and they required an identity that would enable them to achieve this.

The solution

After establishing and trademarking the name Pro-Core, we created a brand that was rolled out over a suite of marketing collateral including clothing, exhibition tents, stands, and product packaging. The product itself is a result of technological advances, and this link is referenced in the semi-futuristic style of the logotype and supporting illustrations.

The outcome

Notoriously difficult to impress, the buyers at American Golf agreed a deal with Pro-Core based on the strength of the package we co-presented with the owners of the business.
