Arbor Restaurant: brand reposition resulting in 30% sales boost and higher staff retention
The brief
With the hotel enjoying high room occupancy rates, the restaurant has struggled to match the same level of success.
The brief included a desire to de-formalise the restaurant and establish an independent brand that moved away from fine dining with a more casual feel.
The approach
The initial task was to develop the name and logo for rolling out across the website and restaurant point of sale. We created a new identity that is both sympathetic to the existing hotel brand and strong enough to stand on its own merits. We also designed a suite of stationery and a fully responsive website that integrated with the hotel’s booking system.
The outcome
After the launch of Arbor, a combination of increased customer numbers and increased spend per head has resulted in a 30% sales uplift. Excellent reviews on Trip Advisor have also been received.
