JERA Nex bp represents one of the most significant developments in offshore wind energy. When JERA and bp announced their joint venture in December 2024, we were inspired by the scale of their ambition and proud to build on our long-standing partnership with JERA Nex. The challenge extended far beyond a typical website build, as a newly formed joint venture, still defining its operational structures and brand identity. JERA Nex bp needed a digital partner capable of building while the business itself was taking shape, creating a presence that would communicate its industry leadership from day one.

Working alongside joint venture creation

With the brand identity being created, we drew on our existing knowledge of JERA Nex to lead website planning in collaboration with stakeholders from both companies. This allowed us to develop the website in parallel, ensuring everything was ready for the formal business launch. Close collaboration was essential to ensure the final digital experience seamlessly reflected the new joint venture’s identity and business model.

We created flexible design systems that could adapt to evolving brand guidelines and business details without requiring complete rebuilds. This approach meant we could maintain development momentum while incorporating brand and business decisions as they were finalised.
